New experience and Joyous moments to remember at 11th May Event

The 11th May Event of RUNWALKINDIA “Jaya Hanumantha RUN” gave a new experience to us altogether. It gave us some anxious moments when the expected 70 odd registrants on the previous day pulled our legs leaving us waiting to start the event. Anyway RWI went on with out many of the registrants not turning up , the Event started about 25 min late than schedule time with already warmed up participants as the sun shine at the JP Park was more than the soft rising sun. With about 35 runners running the 5K, the event was more effective in giving more personnel attention as each had queries fo their own sort. 20 runners went on to finish 5K within 25 min which included a sweet girl of 14 years and elderly regular running participant of 50 years.

Not to miss out the Joy shared by a bunch of 4-5 Kids abt 12 to 14 years who approached to participate if given a chance to pay later. They were allowed to run without taking any Fees from them to encourage their running attiitude. The smile on their faces showed their hapiness of accomplishment when they completed the race and gave us the sense of satisfaction in getting an oppurtunity to see the joy.

Few Kids could not complete the 5K but then ran about 2 Km enthusiastically and stopped exhausted. But after a few minutes break when they saw others completing the race they enthused and wanted to run again.

SS Chauhan who has been a wonderful enthusiastic member of Team RunWalkIndia gave the kids his sweet hugs and brought in some lovely moments which are captured on the digital photos which we shall share soon.

Even though we did not have a schedule of Kids Run on date, the demand from the Kids and parents who gathered at the park made us do a quick arrangement for the Kids run for about a 200m dash (who can really ignore those sweet lovely future champs), But then once the kids ran and reached the finish line they turned back to the Prize distribution spot and ran another 200m and completed a 400-450m Dash Run. There can be no words to describe the joy they brought in to the event which started of rather with anxious moments.

We took the oppurtunity at the finish of the event to share with people to tell about RWI team plan in participating at the Sunfeast Majja Run part of the Sunfeast 10K RUN and we saw immediate nods of approval.
